Excellent USBM. Theres no lack of obscurity with this, and it really feels old school in terms of new Black Metal from the USA. It’s raw, brief, and evokes emotion. Elite Demo.
Favorite track: Declaration of Will (First Law).
MMXX is an obscure gem of a demo that's been in underground circulation for two years. Black Eagle Trust emit from Boise, Idaho and is the divine child of Robert Taylor Roark (also a member of the doom band Old Year from Boise).
Characteristic to the black metal sonics of Black Eagle Trust - the strikes of disorienting fury enshrined within meditative ambience and ritualistic energy. Robert Taylor Roark is an emerging talent in USBM and more, and his approach with Black Eagle Trust is singular and well defined by the MMXX demo. More to come.
MMXX now available in cassette form through New Density.
